To use the Coffee Distributor: (1) Place a consistent amount of freshly ground coffee into the filter basket of the portafilter. (2) Retract the distributor's blade side to its shallowest depth and position it on your portafilter with the blade side facing down. (3) Secure the Dosing Funnel in place and gently rotate the distributor until your coffee grounds are evenly distributed and leveled. If the distributor does not reach the coffee, adjust the depth accordingly. (4) Flip the distributor over and extend the tamper (flat side) to its maximum height. Tamp the coffee grounds with your desired pressure. (5) For consistent tamping every time, adjust the tamper depth to match the depth of the tamp you created in step 4.

How to Adjust the Coffee Distributor Height? (1) Rotate the two black adjusting rings in the middle counterclockwise to loosen them. (2) Secure the black adjusting ring by hand, and turn the tamper (flat side) counterclockwise to your desired height (adjustable from 0 to 6mm). (3) Flip the distributor over so that the distributor side (blade side) faces upward. (4) Secure the black adjusting ring by hand, and rotate the distributor surface (blade side) counterclockwise to your desired height (adjustable from 0 to 6mm). (5) Rotate the two black adjusting rings in the middle clockwise until they cannot be loosened. (6) Your height adjustment is complete, and there's no need to make further changes after this adjustment.

For optimal results, ensure your portafilter basket is filled with coffee grinds, and clean the top edge of the basket with a brush before leveling and tamping. This ensures the right amount of pressure from the tamper for a tighter pack and a richer flavor in espresso.
