The Normcore Spring-loaded Coffee Tamper features a 53.3mm (+/- 0.05mm) stainless steel flat base and an anodized aluminum ergonomic handle, weighing approximately 385 grams. It tamps the grounds perfectly vertically with each press, and the base and springs are replaceable.

The set includes the 53.3mm coffee tamper, a tamper stand, a 30lb spring, a 25lb spring (already installed), and a 15lb spring. Our tests show that the grounds are fully compressed at 25lbs between different users, and the interchangeable springs allow you to adjust the pressure to your preference.

Using the Normcore Spring-loaded Coffee Tamper can help avoid repetitive strain injury (RSI), a common issue for baristas. The anodized aluminum stand provides the perfect housing for all 54mm tampers, designed with the same attention to detail as the tamper itself.

The ergonomically shaped handle with a comfortable grip allows you to push the ground coffee easily. The tamper is designed to fit 54mm Breville Portafilters, which are tapered, suitable for Breville/Sage models including the Barista Express, Pro, Touch, Bambino Plus, Infuser, and Duo-Temp Pro.
