These filters have 585 holes distributed towards the center to direct the flow of espresso, with more holes in the center and less distance between them. This pattern is specifically designed for bottomless portafilters and the basket has a flat bottom.

Available in 4 heights with different capacities according to the type of coffee used, the BIG BANG filters are compatible with 58-58.5mm tampers and have a 70mm border. The main characteristic of these filters is their ability to create a very uniform extraction, which exalts the sweetness and reduces the acidity of the espresso.

We don't suggest using the BIG BANG filters with citric (light) coffees, as they tend to sweeten the espresso and modify its characteristics. Instead, these filters are best suited for coffees that benefit from a more balanced and uniform extraction.
